Indeed, red and infrared light therapy is not enough to reduce cellulite on its own, although it’s great for prevention (always combined with a healthy nutiriton and exercise, of course).
However, by acting on the cells’ mitochondria, red and especially infrared light therapy boosts the effectiveness of our main cellulite technologies, i.e. deep-acting, high-power radiofrequency and deep-acting, high-power ultrasound cavitation (the most effective SAFE anti-cellulite technologies currently available).
After a radiofrequency and/or ultrasound treatment on an area there is locally a great need for energy in order for collagen, fat, blood vessel and other cells to achieve what they were stimulated to achieve by the RF/cavitation treatment: collagen contraction, collagen synthesis, fat release, vasodilation, vasoconstriction etc.
Having the red/infrared treatment on another day would not achieve the same result maximisation, as at that time there would not be any intense stimulation by RF/ultrasound and consequently no need for extra energy.
