Why are your cellulite treatments so long?

Cellulite is extremely difficult to treat - even with the best equipment available today. For such a notoriously difficult aesthetic condition, cutting treatment times - just to appear more economical and attract more customers - is downright unethical. At LipoTherapeia our main focus is the client - not getting rich quick - and our main aim is results, so we don’t cut corners. Our treatment times are as long as needed to provide the best possible results, not to get the maximum number of clients in and out the door. Hence our treatment times appearing “very long”. They are not long, they are the right thing to do.

Not cutting corners means longer treatments

Your cellulite treatments are so long (for example your full thigh and buttock treatment is 100 minutes). Why is that?

Because we don’t cut corners.

We are aware that some clinics treat the back of thighs in 20 minutes and in a similar amount of time the front of thighs, for a total of 40 minutes for the entire thighs and buttocks.

That’s good for those clinics, as they make the maximum amount of money per minute but not very good for their clients, who obviously don’t get any results. We don’t do that.

(Of course, we are not even discussing here those clinics that convince the naive and the gullible that all their cellulite will go in 1-4 very expensive, very painful, very unsafe treatments… Obviously, we also don’t do that.)

At LipoTherapeia, despite using the most advanced equipment and treatment protocols, we spend 2.5x more time, i.e. 100 minutes for the entire thighs and buttocks - or 50 minutes for each side.

With the far better equipment and technique, if we followed the example of those clinics we should offer our treatments in what, 15 minutes? 20 minutes? Even the 40 minute treatment done by those clinics for back and front of thighs and buttocks would be a disservice to our clients, despite the better equipment and protocols.

The fact is that for both radiofrequency and ultrasound to be effective, you need not just the highest safe intensity to be used but that intensity must be used for a specific amount of time.

Biology doesn’t care if the clinic owner wants to get rich quick or not. Some things take time.

So, even with the strongest SAFE* radiofrequency or ultrasound cavitation equipment…

…available today we still need to treat each area (left back thigh, left front thigh, t=right back thigh, right front thigh) for at least 15 minutes each. That is 60 minutes for the back and front of thighs and buttocks.

In addition to that, and to maximise results, we now follow up all our deep-acting, high-power radiofrequency and deep-acting, high-power ultrasound cavitation treatments with high-power LED red/infrared light therapy.

Again, for best results, even with the strongest LED phototherapy equipment in the world, you still need to apply the treatment for 20 minutes per area. Anything else is cutting corners, especially with low-end LED equipment which would necessitate 5x or even 10x times more treatment time.

So there you have it: 60 minutes of strong RF/cavitation + 40 minutes of strong light therapy makes our cellulite treatment for the entire thighs and buttocks 100-minute long.

The good news is that the 40 minutes of infrared and red light therapy are pure bliss, with most clients falling asleep during that part of the treatment (the RF/cavitation part is also never painful and quite often relaxing too). So you get to get some “me time” during those 100 minutes.

(* Safety first, always: at the clinic we have a 99.5%+ safety rate.)

Treatment must be as strong and as effective as possible

Both high treatment intensity (but always safe) and long treatment duration is needed, given that most people do not follow a perfect lifestyle that would automaticlly increase treatment results.

Most people keep eating naughty food, drinking a bit too much and not exercising as much as they would like, and this keeps creating new cellulite. Few people are saintly with their lifestyle while having a course of cellulite treatments.

So treatment must be as powerful and as effective as possible, otherwise not much will happen, especially in the long run.

And this is what we offer at LipoTherapeia: the strongest cellulite treatment possible, for maximum results, naturally and safely - and without cutting any corners, as in with poor equipment, short treatment times or poorly trained staff.

It’s only common sense.

Have a treatment in London with the cellulite experts

At LipoTherapeia we have specialised 100% in skin tightening and cellulite reduction for more than two decades and 20,000+ sessions.

This is all we study and practise every day and have researched and tried hands-on all the important skin tightening equipment and their manufacturers.

As strong, deep acting radiofrequency and deep-acting, high-power ultrasound cavitation are the technologies of choice for skin tightening and cellulite reduction, we have invested in the best RF/ultrasound technologies in the world.

(Of course, we keep looking for new technologies every day and if/when a better technology materialises we will be the first to provide it. However, we will never follow the latest ineffective gimmick, just because it’s good marketing to offer the latest hyped up - yet ineffective and/or unsafe treatment.)

Furthermore, over the last two decades we have developed advanced RF and cavitation treatment protocols in order to make the most of our technologies, for maximum results, naturally and safely.

And for even better, faster results, we now combine our RF/ultrasound treatments with high-power red/infrared light LED treatment.

Our radiofrequency/ultrasound/LED treatments are comfortable, pain-free, downtime-free, injection-free, 99.5%+ safe and always non-invasive.

(No unsafe and ineffective RF microneedling or HIFU and no safe but ineffective acoustic wave therapy, superficial RF (bipolar/tripolar/multipolar etc), low power RF/cavitation, electrical muscle stimulation, lymphatic massage, cupping, dry brushing and no ridiculous bum bum creams.)

Our focus is on honest, realistic, science-based treatment, combined with caring, professional service, with a smile.

We will be pleased to see you, assess your cellulite, skin laxity or fibrosis, listen to your story, discuss your case and offer you the best possible treatment.
