Cellulite: the democratic aesthetic condition
Cellulite is the most democratic aesthetic problem: almost every woman will develop some cellulite at some point in her life (~85% of the female population). This is because of today's artificial lifestyle, based on sedentary occupations, calorie-rich foods, alcohol and cigarettes, hormonal contraception, stress and the widespread occurrence of chemicals in our food and environment. Unfortunately, the question is not "will I develop cellulite?" but "when will I develop cellulite?".
In most women cellulite develops during her twenties and becomes visible at around the age of 30, but many start displaying the "peau d'orange" skin appearance soon after puberty. Some very active women who also possess good genes delay the appearance of cellulite until the age of 40. Only a very small minority of women will not develop cellulite on today's western world.
Famous women, rich women and celebrities are not an exception to this rule, as they lead an unhealthy lifestyle similar to most of us, based on indulgence, exposure to chemicals of all kinds, and lack of exercise. Newspapers and gossip magazines kindly inform us of this "democratic" nature of cellulite and devote considerable space displaying the "cottage cheese skin" of the rich and famous. This serves to remind us that some things universally affects most of us, and thereby make us feel a bit more normal, in contrast to fashion magazines whose pages are adorned with perfect bodies of airbrushed models and make most women feel inadequate.
Cellulite-specific massage: the cellulite prevention secret of the connoisseurs
I mentioned above that cellulite is democratic in that it affects all types of women who live an artificial and indulgent life, regardless of socioeconomic background. However, this is the case because most women do not know that cellulite can be prevented with the regular use of anti-cellulite massages - provided of course that indulgence stays within certain limits and some mild, pleasant physical activity is introduced, usually by means of walking a lot during the day. Preventative cellulite massages are very popular in some parts of the world, especially France, Italy, Russia, Brazil, Venezuela and the Arab countries, and women who can afford to regularly receive them swear by their effectiveness.
Lipo Active Cellulite Massage: the ultimate cellulite massage, trusted by celebrities
Over the past few years I have treated and still continue to treat celebrities and other very important people (VIPs) for both cellulite prevention and reduction with very regular (up to three times a week) cellulite-specific massages - enhanced the Lipo Actives, my anti-cellulite cream formulations. The results, especially in the case of cellulite prevention, are fantastic as they allow clients to stray off course a little bit without the fear of developing cellulite. Being a celebrity can be tough, with all the fine wine and gourmet food offered to you all the time (!), so a little external help from a good cellulite massage and cellulite cream is essential to avoid the dread lumpy look - and feel - of cellulite.
Stories about celebrities attract clients, but confidentiality keeps them - I chose the latter
I frequently receive requests from journalists about celebrities that I may treat. Celebrities sell magazines and newspapers! When a journalist contacts you for an interview the first thing they ask you is not “how the treatment works” it is “do you treat any celebrities?”. However, my customers are not just celebrities, they are also rich or other VIPs, as well as normal everyday people who value their privacy, expect confidentiality and who would not think twice before deserting me if I started spreading gossip and rumour for personal gain. Several of my clients confide personal information to me and discuss their personal life feeling comfortable that the person they are talking to is trustworthy and can be considered a “friend”, and will not sell their story to The Sun neither will pass on information to their friends or even partner who may have treatments with me. That’s right, things I discuss with a client stay with me and I avoid talking about them even with their partners or close friends. This ensures that they appreciate my integrity and I maintain their trust, keeping their business for years.
Integrity is important - playing the celebrity game is not for me
I have clients who have been coming to see me for up to six years in a row, including some VIPs, and these people would not be pleased if began playing the “kiss and tell” game. I am very interested in human psychology and I discuss all sorts of things with my clients, always remembering to keep my mouth shut after the treatment. For all these reasons you will not hear about Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow or Kylie Minogue from me (who, to avoid any misunderstanding, are not clients of mine).
