Exercise magnifies the results of any cellulite cream, treatment or weight loss supplement
Do you use an anti-cellulite cream every day to reduce cellulite?...
...Are you on a course of cellulite reduction treatments? Do you take supplements to lose weight? Then vigorous exercise (not mild Pilates or Hatha Yoga) can double or triple their results! Provided that the cellulite reduction treatment/supplement/cream that you chose works (unfortunately most of them don't!), and as long as you don't undermine the whole process by eating too much or by eating the wrong kind of foods (basically saturated fat and excess carbs) you will be amazed of the synergistic results of combining those cellulite reduction methods with exercise.
Sounds great! How do I do it?
It's simple: immediately before and/or after an hour, or more, of vigorous exercise (running, fast swimming, rowing, cross trainer, resistance training, circuits, interval training, fast/uphill walking, cycling, vigorous dancing etc.), you take the weight loss supplement/apply the anti-cellulite cream/receive the anti-cellulite treatment! The word immediately here is crucial, as combining the treatment/supplement/cream more than an hour before or after exercise will fail to offer the desired synergistic results. In an ideal world you would want to apply the cream/take the supplement/receive the treatment just minutes before exercising. In an even more ideal world you would want to repeat the process immediately after, for more enhanced results (sandwiching). This is especially true with creams which may be partially sweated out of your skin during exercise. The good news is that the cream will be absorbed much better after a hot shower, provided that you have the shower immediately after exercise - not an hour later...
A words of warning (safety first)!
Of course, if there are contraindications to using your treatment/cream/supplement in combination with exercise, please follow them and disregard this advice. This is especially true with caffeine or other stimulant-containing supplements, and sometimes with creams too. If you have just received mesotherapy (and depending on the chemicals you have been injected with) you may want to disregard this advice, as some of those chemicals may make you feel dizzy in their own right, so combining them with exercise wouldn't make sense [Note: in any case I do not advocate mesotherapy for cellulite, as it is too painful and too artificial to be part of an on-going cellulite reduction/maintenance routine].
If you are in doubt about the combination of vigorous exercise with your supplement/cream/treatment please ask your treatment provider or cream/supplement merchant.
How does it work?
Fat cells respond far better to the lipolytic (fat-releasing) stimuli of supplement and cream ingredients if at the same time they are exposed to adrenaline. Adrenaline is secreted when you exercise and it is by itself the most powerful fat-releasing hormone in the body. By combining the two types of fat release stimulation, i.e. fat loss ingredients from the cream/supplement plus adrenaline from exercise, we encourage the fat cells to release more fat. This has been proven again and again in both in-vivo (live) and in-vitro (test tube) studies and it is very common practice in the lab when researching fat loss ingredients on cell cultures, lab animals or humans.
With treatments, things are quite similar. Although treatments are not based on fat-loss ingredients, a treatment that works should stimulate the fat cells to release fat and this effect would be magnified by exercise. Some treatments destabilise the fat cells, a process which again forces them to release fat. Some treatments significantly boost circulation on the treated area, which in return leads to higher adrenaline concentrations on that area during exercise, and provides a local fat loss effect. Spot reduction (i.e. local or topical fat loss) may be impossible with exercise, but it is possible with exercise and a good cream/treatment applied locally!
Does it always work?
