Detox secrets for models and dancers - Part IV: How to detoxify your buttocks and thighs and reduce cellulite

Fat soluble toxins can stay in the body for long periods of time...

...trapped in the fat tissues, including cellulite tissues. Water soluble toxins accumulate in the intercellular spaces in the same tissues, further worsening water retention and cellulite. For complete detoxification, you must support both the internal organs (liver, kidneys, small intestine, colon), as well as the peripheral tissues, including the fat tissue and the skin. Here are some more tips from us on how to detoxify the skin of the thighs and buttocks directly, in addition to whole body detoxification:

  1. Local toxin removal from your legs and bum requires very strong lymphatic stimulation massage, as opposed to the light, fluffy lymph drainage massage that only “scratches the surface”. For best results, this vigorous massage has to be performed for twenty minutes per day (or for sixty minutes 1-3 times a week), and must be based on strong kneading, skin rolling, long, deep strokes. Professional lymphatic stimulation massage is ideal, but if you are determined you can have fantastic results with self-massage too!
  2. The benefits of a lymphatic stimulation massage are even more pronounced if it is combined with a good detoxifying/cellulite-fighting cream. An ideal cream formulation is one that contains multiple ingredients and in high concentrations. This is because the massage enhances the absorption of the cream's ingredients by the body, much more than is achieved by mere application of the cream.
  3. Avoid naive detox approaches that don’t work. The following detox techniques/products have negligible effect, if any, on toxins, local fat and cellulite, so my advice is: don't bother!
