LIP0 IN THE PRESS

TESTIMONIES

“Working as a health and beauty writer for the women's section of a national newspaper means I have tried out plenty of treatments in the course of my job. It has made me pretty sceptical about what works and what doesn't. However, Georgios' knows his stuff and he has managed to develop a comprehensive treatment that really does work on cellulite. It is not a magic solution but the results definitely speak for themselves.

Over the course of 12 treatments my dress size dropped from a 12 to an 8 and I lost over a stone and a half in weight. I also lost three inches off my bum and two inches off each leg. My skin is smoother, firmer and many of the tell-tale lumps and bumps that are the bane of many women's lives have all disappeared.

During the treatment Georgios gave me specific advice on diet and the type of exercise I needed to do to see the quickest results [Lipo Diet]. I found it difficult to stick to the diet because of my lifestyle but Georgios was always on hand to give advice and suggest alternatives when I was ready to give up.

I found the massage part of the treatment uncomfortable at first but it was amazing how quickly I got used to it and it really made a difference. It works by strengthening the connective tissue and capillaries just under the skin, which is why you won't get such effective results with exercise alone.

The creams that Georgios has developed [Lipo Actives] are wonderful to use and have an immediate cooling and tightening effect on the skin. After three months working with Georgios I managed to slip effortlessly into a pair of size 8 jeans - something that had eluded me for a very long time.”

LipoTherapeia Component IV: Lipo Active Cellulite Wrap [The high tech cellulite body wrap]

The Lipo Active Cellulite Wrap is a unique combination of...

...lymphatic drainage pressotherapy and a powerful, nourishing body wrap, rich in cellulite-fighting ingredients, the Lipo Actives. The lymphatic drainage pressotherapy offers your feet, calves, thighs, legs, hips and waist/stomach a very powerful lymphatic massage that helps with detoxification and fluid retention reduction, instantly reducing puffiness, discomfort and pain. But most importantly the pressotherapy aids the absorption of Lipo Actives Plus, the twenty cellulite-fighting active ingredients that are contained in the anti-cellulite wrap. These help with the removal of fatty acids released by the cellulite fat cells into the interstitial fluid. nourish your blood vessels and add to the effect of the pressotherapy by further stimulating circulation and lymph drainage.

How pressotherapy lymph drainage works

Pressotherapy lymph drainage is based on air compression applied on your legs and abdomen in such a way that a pressure differential exists between the feet and the waist, thereby stimulating lymphatic drainage and venous return (and consequently detoxification) from tired, swollen, heavy feet, calves, knees, thighs and hips. To achieve this, a special compression/decompression equipment is used which is connected to special compression garments (pressotherapy trousers). The client wears the pressotherapy garments which are rhythmically inflated and deflated by the central unit, thereby creating the pressure difference mentioned above in cycles as short as 12 seconds. Because of the continuous inflation and deflation, the pressure difference is not static, but it is enhanced by an added pressure wave from the feet towards to upper body. This is totally different to the static compression produced by things like flight socks, "anti-cellulite" tights and other compression garments that may help lymph drainage but inhibit arterial flow, which usually creates as many problems as it solves. The pressotherapy lymph drainage actually boosts arterial flow that nourishes your tissues, in addition to providing effective lymph drainage and venous return.

We use the most effective pressotherapy system available today

The pressotherapy equipment we use is probably the most advanced and efficient in the world. It features fast compression-decompression cycles, up to 12 seconds per cycle: the faster the cycle the more lymph and blood is drained towards the heart. In addition, it features not the usual 3 or 5 champers, but 26 individual air chambers that rhythmically inflate and deflate, pushing the lymph and vein blood upwards with each cycle and thereby aiding the lymph vessels and veins to defy gravity and pump lymph and blood towards the heart.

What happens to the toxins and waste products that are removed from my cellulite tissues?

The lymph (which carries excess fluid, waste products and toxins from the tissues) is moved from the legs towards the inguinal lymph glands in the groin from where it ultimately enters the "thoracic duct", a large lymphatic trunk underneath your organs. From there the lymph drains into a vein on the base of your neck, enters the heart and ultimately reaches the liver and the kidneys for elimination through the faeces and urine.

In the same way, waste products from the veins of the legs, enter larger veins towards the heart and from there the kidneys/liver in order to be excreted from your body.

In summary, pressotherapy lymphatic drainage assists your body in it's effort to transport excessive water, toxins and waste materials from tissues, including the cellulite tissues, and excrete them out of the body. And equally importantly, it helps transport fatty acids from the cellulite tissues into the general circulation for oxidation (burning) in the muscles, liver and other organs.

In our experience, lymphatic drainage pressotherapy helps drain the cellulite tissues of excess fluid and toxins much more efficiently than manual lymphatic massage in more than 95% of the cases (the exception relates to clients that have undergone lymph gland removal surgery). Just imagine 26 pairs of hands rhythmically massaging your legs, hips and stomach all at the same time to get an idea of how effective it is.

Advanced anti-cellulite body wrap based on the Lipo Actives Plus

In addition to a highly efficient lymph massage, this technique offers the advantage of enhanced absorption of the anti-cellulite ingredients included in the body wrap we apply on your cellulite affected areas. In our experience, this nutrient absorption is superior to mesotherapy or needle-free mesotherapy (such as ultrasound-assisted mesotherapy or isophoresis), without the intrusiveness of the former and the ineffectiveness and high cost of the latter. This advanced body wrap is highly concentrated and comprehensive - rich in herbal extracts, marine extracts, fruit extracts, aminoacids, vitamins, peptides, minerals and proteins specific to cellulite reduction, lymphatic drainage, skin firming and local fat loss.

The Lipo Active Cellulite Massage offers a similar no-needle mesotherapy effect that helps the Lipo Actives Classic be absorbed by your cellulite tissues. The two treatments complement each other and are used according to your individual needs.

The beauty of the Lipo Active Cellulite Wrap...

...is it's simplicity, effectiveness and time/cost-efficiency, producing results superior to more expensive or time-consuming techniques in a safe, natural manner. This intensive treatment is ideal for an immediate decongesting, skin firming, rejuvenating result (after a long tiring day or before an important night out when you want your legs to feel and look your best), as well as long term results in cellulite and water retention reduction.
